Feidamil Aigle

• Warning: Feid is a character that is involved in a loooot of my plots and backstories, and since she is very old the history she is involved in can get a bit confusing, but I tried to write it out as best as I could. Her long and detailed history can be found in a link below.

Races:

• Helios Elf: Feid was born in former Helios territory, though coming from the southern forests which, a few years after turning into a Celestial, declared independence and became Yrodan.

• Celestial: Also referred to as sun spirits. The original Celestials were chosen by the spirits of other Celestials, showing an enormous affinity to one or multiple of the sun elements. Being prepared in their mortal time by this 'spirit', Celestials give their life in faith to the sun gods, their body growing six wings and eventually being led to Itherion to live there and act as the sun gods' servants. Just as all moon spirits are male, all sun spirits are female.

Age: Several thousand years...

Size: 1,82m

Personality: Self confident, just and determined, Feid is a very strong person overall. She might look pretty and harmless on the outside, but his determination and strong will make her a formidable leader and fierce fighter. Yet she seems to always remain friendly and calm, smiling most of the time. She has a bit of trouble actually opening up and growing attached as she always seems to feel more like an outsider, but that comes mostly from her having watched the world as Celestial most of her life.

Weapon and Abilities:

Feid is very old and very strong. My strongest character to be specific. I will refuse most RPs if it has to do with fighting her as I do not want to overpower others but at the same time don't want to have to keep thinking of reasons why she is weak right there and then... If you are looking for an action RP with fights etc, please pick one of my many other OCs. Thanks for understanding.

Celestial Bow and Arrows: Every Celestial has a special weapon they are able to summon at will. In Feid's case, it is a large bow. This weapon grows with the Celestial, so it will change shape over the course of years or centuries,... In Feid's case, her bow changed last after freeing Ethrion from the Mythirl Mines, ever since having the shape of wings. Her arrows are made of concentrated sunlight. She fights with her bow mostly as a distant fighter, but can also wield it like a staff to block and hit.

Sun Storm: Summoning multiple light arrows at once, Feid can send an arrow storm at the battlefield.

Life Beam: Sending beams of concentrated life force, this attack is especially effective against elysians and undead creatures, having barely any effect on living beings though.

Healing Magic: Only weak, but Feid learned a bit of healing magic during her long life, able to close minor wounds or at least make worse wounds stop hurting for a limited amount of time.

Teleportation: When the sun is shining, Feid is able to teleport freely between Ehana and Itherion. She is able to take people with her, however it takes far longer to focus when having to transport others with her.

History (short-ish)

Feid grew up in Helios as oldest daughter of the Aigle family. To be able to inherit her family's title and riches, her parents pretended in public they had a son instead. Feid was found by a Celestial though, finding her having a very strong affinity to Bion, accompanying her through her youth, protecting her and preparing her to become a Celestial herself. Before she was ready though, an elysian named Itsuki found her and tried to eat from her life energy, the Celestial that guided her suddenly taking shape to protect her. Itsuki killed Feid's teacher, but she managed to turn into a Celestial in time, escaping. Ever since, her and Itsuki were eternal rivals. Her disappearance set many things in motion that eventually resulted in her sister Irene Aigle becoming the first Queen of the newly formed kingdom of Yrodan.

Feid watched the world the way her kind were supposed to for a long time until the Astral Breach took place. The other original sun spirits had disappeared mostly by then, their race seeming to die out. The others suddenly saw a chance though to strike against the elysians of Morrden, starting to 'breed' Celestials. Feeling this was completely wrong, Feid fled Itherion and started working on opposing her brethren, trying to kill the 'newborns' and preventing her sisters to create more Celestials. Eventually, a priestess from Ehanji by the name Caelifer was tricked into becoming such a newborn Celestial. Feid got involved with her by killing the spirit that rebirthed her, taking her away from Itherion and returning her toward her family, one of them being her old rival Itsuki's offspring Ryou. After a long struggle, the remaining original Celestials were defeated, Feid, Itsuki and two other elysians entered the remaining sun spirits' lair, killing everyone there mercilessly to prevent them from continuing killing innocents to turn them into Celestials.

The remorse over killing so many of her sisters weighted heavily on Feid, almost instantly her wings burning away, turning her mortal again. Left behind by Itsuki and the others, not caring if she made it alive or not, the elven woman didn't know where to go anymore, so she went to the place she once called home, only to find Helios split into two countries by now. Entering Yrodan, she got captured by an elven knight and noble there named Ethrion Thorlay. After he found out the truth about who she actually was, he offered her to stay at his home if in return she helped him ensuring Yrodan wasn't taken over by one of the three royal yrodian families. She lived with Ethrion for about two years until politics in Yrodan went haywire, her true identity being found out. She had to flee Yrodan but Ethrion was caught in the process to be brought into the Mythril Mines to be left to death. Feid and some others went to save his life, suddenly hearing the sun's call. Turning into a Celestial once more, Feid restored her old powers, eventually moving to live with Caelifer though also helping Yrodan with its political situation once it calmed down again some.

By now she turned into a full part of the shrine in Ehanji, teaching both Ryou and Caelifer but also being in constant contact with Ethrion and Yrodan.

Additional:

• Being born the way the sun spirits were supposed to, Feid is considered the last of the original Celestials.

• She used to despise Itsuki for killing her beloved teacher, Ebony... by now she realized though that the elysian had only done what his nature demanded: Hunting to live. She still can't stand him but at least the loathing hatred has died down some. She never had a grudge against the elysians directly however.

• Feid doesn't care whether people think she is male or female on first glance. She pretended to be male for a very long time and only just recently started to also wear more feminine cloths or having her hair open.

• The Celestial speaks fluent Iklain, an ancient elven language that has been forgotten by most of the world other than Helios and Yrodan.

• Caelifer and Ryou are both her students now. She tries to teach the elysian how to fight and believe in himself while teaching Caelifer the ways of the sun spirits of old, the way she had been taught.

• As child, Feid always had to pretend to be a boy, but she didn't mind. It allowed her to live more freely, not having to worry about some noble asking for her hand, being allowed to learn how to wield a weapon, being invited to all sorts of banquets and parties and eventually going to inherit her family's mansion and titles,... so she never held a grudge against her parents for that.

• The original sun spirits were said to be pure maidens that rose to the heavens to live by the sun gods' side. It is unclear if it really is a requirement to become a Celestial, but Feid chose for herself to remain a virgin to honor the traditions of the sun spirits that used to roam Itherion.

• Before the War of the Confluxes, most Celestials gave their life out of pure faith, wanting to support their gods that way. When Confluxes became common though, entire wars evolving around them and them being seen as proof that the existence of the gods, barely anyone was willing to become a sun spirit anymore, instead just praying hard to hopefully form a Confluence instead. The numbers of the Celestails dwindled during that time, Feid being one of the few naturally born sun spirits still. After the Astral Breach, the Celestials were 'bred', meaning they no longer were protected and prepared for the rite during their life time, but instead starting to hear voices in their heads that eventually drove them to suicide, making them weaker sun spirits with sealed memories of their previous life, but at the same time the Celestials didn't have to invest many years to prepare them, risking that the mortals would die, change their mind, fall in love, prefer to form a conflux to show their loyalty to their god,... Since Feid was still taught the old values by a rather ancient sun spirit herself, she was unable to accept these wrong spirits that were only used as tools by her sisters. The fact that she slaughtered most of them with the help of the elysians though still weights heavily on her conscience.

• Since her rebirth as Celestial after saving Ethrion, her abilities shifted a bit. She isn't sure if she really is fully sun spirit any longer, since she seems less vulnerable to the night and moonlight, but at the same time feels less drawn to Itherion's energy as well.

Relationships:

• Itsuki: Her life long rival and enemy. Feeling nothing but pure hatred for the man that killed her teacher at first, Feid wanted revenge but as time passed she learned that she was mainly projecting her own guilt onto him. She still hates him for his personality, attitude, arrogance,... but has at least more or less forgiven him the fact that he murdered her teacher. At least they aren't trying to kill each other on sight anymore.

• Ethrion: Her grand grand grand grand grand grand … grand nephew. Even though there are many generations between them, they feel closer than that after all they went through. Feid refers to the man as her nephew while he calls her his aunt. They worked very closely together to help Yrodan when a civil war had been about to break out, preventing the murder of King Marceus Shira. At the moment they are mainly writing letters as Feid is staying in Ehanji most of the time with her students.

• Caelifer: The former white squirrel priestess was one of the victims of the other sun spirits but thanks to Ryou regained her memories and opposed her teacher. Feid took her in as her student, protecting her and her family against the other Celestials. Once the danger was gone however and Feid left Yrodan, she moved back with her student and family, focusing on training her and Ryou.

• Ryou: Even though the half elysian is the son of her arch enemy, Feid likes the young man quite a bit, gladly teaching him how to use his abilities, trying to boost his self esteem some. To her he is like the last unicorn: And elysian able to feel love, guilt and compassion.

• Keenai and Isaija: Caelifer's grandfather and younger brother live at the Ehanji Shrine as well. She enjoys teasing Sai or enjoying a drink of sake with Keenai on the porch from time to time.

• Ivalina: When Ivalina was born, Feid led her to Fahlenwood, telling her her fate to protect the Tree of Life. 1000 years later they met once more. To Ivalina, the Celestial is considered a long lost friend that helped her through many hardships before she found her destined path.

• Kyla: Ethrion's maid in Yrodan. When first living in the Thorlay Mansion, it was Kyla who started to dress the woman up more feminine to fit into the court, always gladly going dress shopping with her and giving her style advice~

• Ebony: The Celestial that accompanied Feid through her entire youth until the day she became a sun spirit herself. To the young elf, Ebony meant everything and she dedicated her life to her teachings to eventually join her side as a full Celestial. The fact that she got tricked by Itsuki and Ebony was killed when attempting to save her still weights heavily on her, but Feid seemed to have taken up her teacher's path at least, her Celestial weapon becoming the same as her teacher's: Bow and Arrow.

• Irene Aigle: Feid's younger sister always loved her 'big brother', feeling nothing but fondness toward him. When Feid disappeared suddenly however, a lot of blood being found by the lake the elf had left to that night and the truth about her actually being a woman came to light. Irene believed that Feid's sudden disappearance was her father's fault who in return blamed his wife who ended up being put in jail for murder on their older daughter. Having lost their noble name because of that scandal, Irene was supposed to be married off to the Lord that reigned in the King's name over the southern forest but she fell in love with a demon from the drifting islands named Yrodan. They escaped and formed a family with three children. Years later, her father and the Lord found them, imprisoning Irene and Yrodan and bringing them to Helios to be judged and executed. Their three children however gathered the other demons of their tribe and in a swift and precise attack managed to save their mother, coming too late to save their father however... After the Lord was killed, Irene declared the independence of the southern forest, claiming it as a new country by the name of her late husband: Yrodan in which women and men had the same rights and marriage by force was strictly forbidden. Her three children Shira, Feldinn and Thorlay formed the new royal houses of the elven Kingdom that were supposed to take turns in ruling generation by generation. Thorlay's ancestor Ethrion found out millennia later that their entire history was based on a misunderstanding and annulling the claim to the throne of all three houses in order to prevent a civil war in Yrodan.

Feidamil was born to Vindrell and Cassandra Aigle, a 'noble' family in Helios, living in the southern forests. The country was extremely patriarchal, especially back in that time, women being unable to inherit their family's titles and possessions, usually being married to other noble houses. One such case was Feid's mother, being married to Vindrell of a low noble family so all her family's belongings were transferred to him, making him the new Lord of a small plant in the woods. With Cassandra giving birth to a daughter though, they feared of losing what they had left to a noble from the city, so keeping their first daughter more of a secret, trying for another baby right after. Cassandra nurtured her little girl, pampering her but becoming pregnant so soon after again made it rather hard for her, lying in bed most of the time. After the birth of a second girl, the healers told her she would be unable to get any more children, meaning the Aigles were stuc
