Talek finally makes it to AstralBreach <3 And he got a complete update finally xD Also, since I actually already RPed him quite a bit, the history and such are raaaather long already. If you want to read the full proflie, check here:

The name is very misleading actually. The White Feathered Nightmares are, even though sounding rather impressive, prey to most larger aviators, from dragons to gerudas,... Their plumage also isn't white but turns toward black with lots of markings as they age. Since most feral White Feathered Nightmares don't grow older than 50-60 though, the name stuck. The reason they are called 'Nightmares' originates from their very peculiar way of eating: They are hunters that kill their prey swiftly with precise puncture wounds to their throats, letting their prey bleed out before accurately cutting off the head and s

Personality:

Talek is a very cold person on the outside, rarely smiling and usually taking everything way too serious. He needs a lot of personal space or he grows cold and resenting, allowing only very few people to actually step over the border he sets. Knowing him more than on the surface though, it is easy to tell that he is actually a very kind and pure person. He rarely shows this side of his self to outsiders, but those knowing him for a long time and having gained his trust actually are allowed into the warm little bubble that is his personal space and sanctuary. Obviously an introvert...

History:

Born in the stormy mountains of Kartha, Talek started his life among feral White Feathered Nightmares. When he was the dragon equal to 12 years old, he was taken in by a librarian that taught him how to write and read, awakening his passion for books.

Eventually, he joined a dragon named Tyrant however, helping him taking over the desert kingdom Mergol, becoming his advisor and ambassador, having found a new family in the crimson dragon and his friend Duane...

Eventually however, a moon spirit almost killed him, enchanting him like a siren and almost draining him of his life energy, however fortunately Tyrant managed to save him, not without him taking severe damage from the ordeal though, closing himself to the outside completely ever since.

In recent events, Talek almost got killed during a political altercation, which resulted in a Confluence being formed: Raza, Talek's conflux came into existence. They are having a lot of difficulties, Raza now living in another country even, but after a long time of fighting and not getting along, they finally try to work things out again.

Class: Arcanist in training

Abilities:

• Dark Breath: Talek's natural dragon breath. It looks like black flames, however they are unable to hurt anyone, only blinding or distracting an enemy for a few moments to give him time to escape.

• Expert Aviator: The White Feathered Nightmares are experts in flying thanks to their six wings and sail like tails, being able to fly even in the most turbulent air without much problem. It's their only protection against predators, to outfly them when seeing them first.

• Arcanist:

Talek is currently training in becoming an arcanist, still being very new to it. The ability of arcanists is neither offensive nor defensive on its own, but if Talek is with someone, he can lower an enemy's elemental resistance some. For example when being with Tyrant, he can slightly reduce an enemy's fire resistance. So even if someone is completely immune to fire, they would now take at least a tiny bit of heat damage. On his own, Talek is completely useless though...

Additional:

• Talek is pretty much useless on his own... He has no offensive abilities to speak of and is best off in a battle to simply fly away as quickly as he can.

• The White Feathered Nightmares are very light by nature due to their hollow bones. In human form, if a sudden strong wind occurs, it can happen for Talek to simply get blown away...

• Talek's kind is darkness based, their power coming from Noxir's element. They are the most efficient during night.

• His pupils are white. They make it harder to see during daytime, but during nighttime, he sees perfectly sharp.

• The blue gils on his neck are a pretty good indicator how healthy a White Feathered Nightmare is. The more they glow and seem to 'burn', the stronger and healthier.

• Even though Talek doesn't mind eating a regular meal every now and then, his favorite method of eating still is hunting, skinning and then swallowing whole.

• Talek can't sink in water... it is absolutely impossible for him. He does however really enjoy puffing up his feathers and bathing like an oversized bird.

• He is a very tidy and organized person, going crazy if someone messes up his room, even if it is just throwing over one book in his shelf... leave alone accidentally placing a book in the wrong spot...

• Reading is still Talek's greatest or rather only hobby and pleasure, using his free time to read all sorts of books, be it novels, scientific literature, biographies,...

• Talek can change between his dragon form and human form almost seamlessly. His dragon form is considered his 'natural' form while his human body with all the wings is considered his second form. He can reduce his human form up to the point of not having any wings out but his white skin, ears,... will always remain visible, it takes a lot of effort and power to change that for from his original form though...
