Race: Gate Guardian – a race that lives in the small sphere between the world of the living and the dead, guarding the entrance gates to the afterworld.

Abilities:
Since Haizea left the Inbetween and can't reenter due to the life bond, her abilities as Gate Guardian are entirely gone. The only ability she still obsesses is a magic dust with which she can attack coming from her arms. It is actually an expanded part of her soul and thus she needs to use it very carefully to not be hurt herself. She likes forming it to either a bow, thorns or shards.

Personality:
A rather cold and collected character, Haizea tends to give the feeling as if she is looking down on others... in all reality she just doesn't know how to act among the living. Where she lived the past millennia, she barely had any contact with a living soul, so it is a little unusual for her to be among many people at once, the more mortals around her, the more she retreats herself behind a curtain of cool and divine silence. When being alone with someone or having Ahriman to back her up though, she can become pretty open and outgoing actually.

History:
Haizea doesn't like talking about her past... She was arean before becoming a Gate Guardian in the name of the Dark Lord to serve through life and beyond... but being a Gate Guardian wasn't only fun and games... in contrary... restless, cursed or incomplete souls, corrupted spirits that tried to fight their way back into the world of the living,... In her early years of being a guardian, Haizea got hurt in one of the fights against these 'Fallen' and had to sacrifice half of her life energy to seal the Fallen within her arms which made it entirely impossible to ever leave the Inbetween again.

After a few millenia passed though, she met someone in the Inbetween that could possibly change that. An old aquaintance she remembered from her time among the living: Ahriman.
The Necromancer's soul had gotten corrupted, slowly turning him into a revenge spirit, so he had decided to rather go and die voluntarely than becoming such a low being. Since Ahri had crossed the Gates into the Inbetween already, half of his life was gone already... but Haizea saw their chance in just that: She taught him how to seal the corrupted soul part away in his left arm, and merged their life energy into one...

Returning to the world of the living, Haizea was now bound with Ahri, sharing one life, so if one of them died, the other would too, but it was a deal that was worth the price: They both were able to return into the world of the living.

After having some trouble adjusting this shared life at first, Ahri and Haizea managed to merge completely eventually, so now, the former guardian travels Zion to catch up on what she missed historywise the past few thousand years.


Random Facts:
-Haizea can fly with her black wings, but can't cross long distances with them as it tires her rather quickly.
-No, Haizea and Ahri aren't a couple, they just share one goal: Escaping death a little by working together. She's hitched with a librarian.
-Distrusts ghosts and spirit beings on a natural basis...
-Haizea is rather clueless when it comes to history usually... She tries to learn the basics, but often is caught off guard when someone asks for historic details.
-She loves annoying Arlen to bits~~~
