Astral Breach Sketches

Drew a couple of traditional sketches lately and never got to scan them...

1. Wanted to draw Ethrion in a dynamic pose with casual clothing. I really liked the pose, but ever since finishing his charactersheet I felt I was unable to recreate his face. Like... I tried drawing him but he never looked like on the app and I LOVE his face on the app xD

2. A small picture of Feid. She still loves wearing guy cloths, but more often than not lately she actually dresses up more feminine. That has partly to do with the fact that she played Ethrion's sister for a while. xD

3. An older piece (bit more than a month) of Caelifer. During coloring I screwed up the hair and wasn't so happy with the face, so I never really continued on it...

4. Dorian taking Ethrion out to eat sushi. Was a really cute RP xD Ethrion never used chopsticks in his life before. Eitherway, same as before: NOT happy with his face... Though in return I love how Dorian's face turned out 8D

5. Quick headshot of Ivalina. Fure and I brought many of our characters from Ethernitas and SoC over to Astral Breach, Ivalina being one of them. I'll update the map soon to add Fahlenwood~ Ivalina is queen there now <3 *pets her pretty face*

6. My new OC Cherize. Really love her design with the fluffy feather like hair, blackish skin and large owl eyes~

7. Another shot of Feid. I drew those three women portraits mainly to get more aware of face styles and choices with noses, eyes, etc... to train to vary them more.

8.-10. After so many failed attempts of redrawing Ethrion's face the way it was on the app I tried a little trick I sometimes do to figure out why I can't recreate a face: I first draw them as kid, then youth, then adult. And TADA figured out what was wrong xD For masculine faces I tend to place the eye line above the middle. It seems more mature and masculine, but what I really liked about Ethrion's app face was that it was mature but didn't look like MANRY manly, still having something youthful to it, and that was why I always felt it was off. Simply drew the eyes too far up xD; Basically Ethrion with ~8 years, ~17 years and 145 years, the way he is now.

11. First design of Cherize. She is my new OC that I need for a story RP with Fure about Alex' owl Aidyn, but I really liked the design, so I drew her out fully and colored her. Might tweak one or two things here and there eventually still but all in all that's how she looks like~
